Effective Supervision for Advanced Practice and Minimum Standards Documentation

In this video one of our Supervision and Assessment Lead within the Midlands Faculty for Advancing Practice focuses on how to facilitate effective supervision for advanced practice. This is aimed at employers, advanced practice leads, training hubs, advanced practice supervisors and trainee advanced practitioners. This session complements the new guidance document – Advanced Practice Workplace Supervision Minimum Standards.

Experience of undertaking the ePortfolio (supported) Route to becoming an Advanced Practitioner

This video provides you with a walkthrough of what it is like to undertake the ePortfolio (supported) route as an advanced practitioner, and what you can expect as a line manager that has been allocated by the Centre for Advancing Practice to support someone with the process. Advancing Practice: A new way to connect via the Integrated Care System (ICS)

Are you are interested in understanding what the Integrated Care System is? How it will affect advanced practice or where you fit in to this system as advanced practitioners? This presentation which will shed some light on how the ICS connects all parts of advanced practice together. The presentation focuses advanced clinical practice in the newly developed ICS in Herefordshire and Worcestershire (presented by Daniel Hastie) and that of a more established ICS in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire (presented by Kate Knowles).

Advancing Practice ESR Re-coding Webinar

This video is a recording of a webinar that took place on 26 September 2022. Trusts will have most likely received the attached Information Standards Notification (ISN) and guidance from NHSE/I already informing them of the changes to the categories advanced practitioners on the electronic staff record (ESR) by February 2023. This webinar was designed to support trusts in fulfilling their obligations of completing the new ISN notice. During the webinar session we run through the guidance that has been issued and gave space for discussion and questions.
