Exploring the barriers that may be affecting ethnic minority groups accessing or developing into Advanced Practice Roles in the NHS within East of England

Report on a research project conducted by University of Suffolk to explore what barriers may impact ethnic minority groups accessing or developing advanced practice roles in our region. The research project was commissioned by the Regional Faculty for Advancing Practice with the aim of identify barriers and developing recommendations to increase equality, diversity and inclusivity within advanced practice roles across the region.

Advanced Practice in Midwifery Webinar – 21 September 2022

HEE Regions organised a national advanced practice midwifery webinar on 21 September 2022. It was aimed towards explaining the capabilities, scope of practice and potential roles of advanced practitioners working in midwifery, and how these roles can be supported and implemented by organisations. An update was also provided regarding the advanced practice midwifery credential.

Regional Advanced Practice Research Webinar East of England – 9 June 2022

This video is a recording of a webinar that took place on 9 June 2022. The webinar provided an opportunity for Advanced Practitioners and trainee Advanced Practitioners to hear more about how clinicians can identify opportunities for engaging in research embedded in the workplace and how to demonstrate the impact of their research.
