Programme accreditation process

The Centre will review submissions through reviewer panels, the criteria is matched against the Multi-professional framework for advanced clinical practice in England and Standards of Education and Training set by HEE.

Stage 1 – Submission date agreed
Stage 2 – Submission
Stage 3 – Threshold review
Stage 4 – Standards review
Stage 5 – Independent panel review
Stage 6 – Notification and final processes

The Centre will invite graduates of the completed programme to join the Centre’s Practitioner Directory.

Where the university validation is open ended, the review cycle reflects the 5-year accreditation period conferred by the Centre.

The programme will join HEE’s quality monitoring process to ensure the programme continues to meet the standards.
