HEE-commissioned advanced practice learning and development resources

Over recent years, HEE has commissioned the development of advanced practice learning and development resources. The resources include a range of different approaches to workforce development, including capability and curriculum frameworks and university modules.

Commissioned resources are listed below, these will be updated regularly to reflect developments. Published resources will be made available via the HEE website.

Where appropriate (i.e. in terms of the specific nature of the developed workforce development intervention), the resources will be taken through HEE’s Centre for Advancing Practice’s new credential approval and assurance process for endorsement as advanced practice credentials.

Five resources are currently being taken through endorsement (May – July 2021), including to test the approach. A second tranche of resources will be taken through endorsement in the autumn of 2021.

Information on the Centre’s approach to multi-professional credentials is available here.
